Look at the Bay

Inspired by this image:

Moonlight seagulls cross the field
Through the glass deficient shield,
Oriental guards the way,
Watches over, night and day.

Waited I’ve too long to count,
Many steps managed to mount
To the highest tower known…
Never I’ve felt that alone.

Oriental meows: “Sleep,
Let the shadow take away
Scars that hurt and wounds – too deep.
Don’t take your eyes off the bay

Next time you look outside.
Just believe me that he’ll come,
Long-awaited hero, guide.
Then you’ll see – to you he’s swum.”
