I have found one photograph
Taken in your youth
Hidden among things old
And I was shocked to discover
Your beautiful hair of gold
I have always known you
As my old grey-haired granny
Since I was but a child
And I never have suspected
That you have once been young
And then - surprise!
A mislaid photograph of you
Emerges before my eyes
A lovely young woman who smiles
Looking away from the camera
Avoiding observers’ sighs
My dear blue-eyed granny
You were as charming as a dream
And I can’t take off my eyes
From this delightful scene!
