For our planet, human race is a nuisance

For our planet, human race is a nuisance:
The little breed pursuing gain and thrill -
Exploding, drilling, sucking planet's juices,
And hurting it, not giving time to heal.

We are ambitious monkeys arm'd with weapons,
Addicted to accellerated growth;
Our power's huge - sufficient, I reckon,
To ruin it, and ourselves remove.

Against the known laws of bursts and crushes,
We hope to stabilise and self-sustain,
Assuming wit, goodwill and lack of rushing
In crowds maddening, refusing to obstain.

It's good for planet to remove our race,
As we're unable to see our own disgrace.
