I live in hope, with patience to wait

I live in hope, with patience to wait
For better ways of solving minute problems.
So wasteful is existence - who's to blame
For the routine that is so vain and troubling.

Most of the time, we only maintain
The useless habit of the base existence;
We sacrifice intentions and betray
The very way of given human instance.

I live in long-term hope, which never ends,
Postponing happiness till ephemeral future.
I wait and wait, and hope for this and that,
And reach nowhere, and my dreams are butcher'd.

There is no future; now is the time
When something happens - punishment or crime.
