To know it all, exalting or disgusting

To know it all, exalting or disgusting,
We learn from artists of all kinds and sorts.
Curiosity appears ever-lasting
And may be our finishing resort.

To learn about new unknown creatures,
New cultures from obscure unknown lands,
Or recognise details of known features
And of familiar or spooky foreign strands.

This world of the establish'd entertainment
Create all products, plenty and abound;
The genres are formatted, trimmed, framed, -
Just follow others and complete your happy round.

But closer human truth would never sell:
Demand is nil, as markets know well.
