Some poems serve to tell amusing stories

Some poems serve to tell amusing stories,
While others demonstrate the rhyming skills;
Then some describe and praise a feat of glory,
Inspiring us to strive and to achieve.

While reading some, I feel extremely bored,
And skim through lines, without stopping glance;
When mediocrity is indiscreetly poured,
And talents cannot have a real chance.

My own goal in writing isn't clear,
It has no solemn story-telling catch.
I value what's of quality and dear,
And find the words that may be able to match.

My poetry is simpler in its motion:
I live to feel, express and pass emotions.
