Sometimes we have a moment of discord,
And what we love appears almost alien,
We're ready to accept and take onboard
Suspicions, disappointments and denials.
The stress of life may often overwhelm,
It blows problems out of proportions;
Some doubts may overshadow our gem -
The dedicated love and true emotions.
And then you bring a card with words of peace,
And I bring mine, selected one of dozens,
We open them, and get surpris'd with this:
They are the same, though separately chosen.
Being so alike is a striking sign of fate -
It cannot be dismissed or betray'd.
