Philosophers have disapproved lust

Philosophers have disapproved lust
As a source of inappropriate intentions.
Ideally, a person should be just,
Detached and devoid of any tensions.

Lust easily excites by novel looks,
By smells and sounds, an intriguing posture;
It doesn't follow principles and rules
In its confusing and seductive torture.

Yet, human beings have brains and will for thrust
To keep fidelity to that selected person:
Intimacy is ultimate in trust:
One cannot feel as one with every bosom.

Lust, if controlled, is a useful source;
It's joy in love, in art - creative force.
