Love needs a mind to choose an object right,
To bring some memories, compare and imagine.
The more naive and dreamy is the mind,
The longer lasts that unexplained magic.
Love needs a body to desire a touch,
Without which the mind becomes obsessive:
It dreams of pleasures - not receiving much;
By this, it may achieve a higher blessing.
There is a shorter route, no need to wait:
Quick chat and drink, and then an instant coupling;
For those for whom the instincts dominate,
Emotions are unnecessary trappings.
This way or that, love forces to create:
One gets a child, another comes to faith.
