Agreement in emotions, wellness, pleasure
Connects a couple as a life-lasting bond -
They constitute our love in equal measure,
And this continues puzzle me and astound.
The longer search with age, the smaller chances
To find a satisfying compromise.
How many suffer evil circumstances,
How few can find a beautiful romance...
It took decades for me to grow in learning,
To know and avoid a lustful bluff,
To understand the meaning of belonging,
And to accept the real mundane love.
Some find their love at instance, others wait...
Some call it chance or luck; I call it fate.
