Elizabeth, when on the top of power

Elizabeth, when on the top of power,
Was losing friends, declining all alone,
She then decided on the final hour,
And perished --- unhappy and forlorn.

All fruits of reign, all valuable achievements
Became as useless as a story book.
What's done was done; remaining were just signets,
There was no point in optimistic look.

Thus, at the end declining sad emotions
Would ruin joys of any useful past...
I much prefer to die while still in motion,
Or live in neutral duties, if I must.

Quick death while strong is the ideal ending ---
Avoiding late survival and lamenting.
