Memories - extended version

I would always like to keep in mind those things,
Moments of the real and the fantastic;
But the stream of time, it washed them great ever since
We were there, in summer everlasting.

We were there — with you,
But I wish I knew,
Who were you of all the girls I met in there?
All that holds my mind
Is a fair divide
You from you just by the color of your hair.

Even everlasting has its bitter end.
I woke up at home, alone as always.
On the desktop screen there was a message someone sent,
Saying, 'Don't you dare to let it all waste'.

So I doN'T. I write
About all I might
Disremember of that trip amazing,
Voicing everything,
Making story sing,
Keeping stack of written sheets amassing.

***

I won't ever let a single byte of it out,
Though the aging memory problem's quite rife,
And the only thing I'm really sorry is about
That I've never met you here, in my life.

They are cruel sometimes
And they lie sometimes
But i keep relying on my memories.
Even if I die
They will be revived
With the stories that there once were we...
