Our service is both dangerous and tough
and at first glance isn't visible enough
If somebody, somewhere, and sometimes
won't live by honor
it means we will lead with them a fight unseen,
so it was decreed by fate for you and me
service nights and mornings
if somewhere a person has got into trouble
we will help hem, we are always on the job
and if suddenly someone of us will two
have a trying time
one another we have helped so many times
and so many times has warmed and aided us
friendly, friendly heart
we have often been admonished by the loved
that we're working way too much and way too hard
separations are at times without end
and the meetings fleeting
but what can we do when wakes us with the dawn
leading into this eternal fight unseen
our sense of duty.
