I Lost Myself

I see no sunlight
     In mourning sky
I see no future
     By blind eyes
Deceptive shadows
     On my way
Their silent whispers
     Leads me astray

I feel confusion
     In my tormented mind
I cannot run
     I cannot hide
Inviting voices
     In my head
Are shout loud
     “Enough! Forget!”

Another day will bring
     Another pain
Turns blood into the acid
     In my veins
Mixing my dreams
     And reality
Demolishing my soul
     Into obscurity

I lost myself
     In the unspoken words
I exchange my life
     For empty hopes
In self-deception
     I slowly melt away
There is no reason
     To remain

I see no starlight
     In mourning sky
I see no future
     By blind eyes
I crossed the line –
     The end complete
The coming day
     Is not for me
