Little by little
We get unexpected
Presents from heaven
Like children we love.
Though they are brittle
And say … disrespectful
Giving us tremor
And all kinky stuff,
We must be patient:
They make living worth it.
Sorrows and hardships
Are all part of life,
Useless evasion
Of duties and worries
Leads to oblivion
For husband and wife …
