The body is but a fire-log.
He who knows it keeps aloof of caves where daily fires are built and destroyed.
He keeps to the open, with no fire to guide him but his own fire,
and no shadow-caster but himself.
He who seeks a fire, is set to destroy a home;
he who sets up a home, shall destroy himself.
You acquire knowledge of all things when there are no things to see you.
When everyone else is a fire-builder, you alone be the fireman.
