Rex

     Rex is Tina’s dog. He is a big strong boxer who has never let a stranger inside her house. He has always been kind to her clumsy husband and children. He has never worried her cats. He has never barked late at night because he knows he’ll be sorry afterwards.
     What did he get in return? Not much frankly speaking. Of course he is not hungry. No doubt nobody tries to beat him (Who could have such a silly idea? Ha-ha). Now what? Should he jump for joy and lick Tina’s hands for it?
     Six weeks ago one of her guests gave him a Cuban cigar just for fun. Rex liked its taste and asked for a new one. Unfortunately Tina saw him smoking. She was furious and kicked him out of her house. Out of sight, out of mind...
     Now he lives in a small kennel. But he has some good news too. Pussy felt sorry for him and stole a dozen cigars from Ben. Now Rex can smoke whenever he likes. Last week he found a half-empty bottle of beer. What if Pussy could get it somehow too?
