We are sitting by the window now,
Watching something through the glass - a cow
Which is eating soft green grass
And is looking straight at us
With its big, dreamy eyes of a cow.
We are all playing a game now
With two dogs which are barking "Bow-wow".
One is crawling like a snail,
The other's gaily wagging its tail,
Such a funny furry tail of a dog.
We are stroking a cat now
Which is saying so sweetly "miaow-miaow",
Which is looking for gray mice
With its cunning clever eyes,
Those green narrow eyes of a cat.
We are trying to catch a monkey now
Which is kicking up a silly little row,
It is making a funny face
(Which is really a disgrace),
A disgraceful funny face of a monkey.
