Future in the Past
in the stillness of his heart,
let him be.
He is of no more worth
than a wind that is become windless,
and travels but the straight lines.
For a full stop at the end of a line,
makes it a straight line,
no matter how crooked it was when you were walking it.
If life is a crooked line come straight at the end,
then prophets and seers are crooks at heart.
The vessel that brings you here,
is not the same vessel as takes you away.
Does it mean that we live two different lives,
separated by time and space, or ignorance?
He who came first, ought to know.
Being also the first to leave,
he took all the answers back to where they belong, -
the Future.
