Пять лимериков на англ яз
New Election Limericks
John Ziemba wrote this limerick:
There once was a wicked witch Hillary
Whom CNN refused to pillory.
But guilt made her wither,
So back home she'd slither
To steadily drink up distillery
I replied with a volley of rhymes from the dictionary published by the Penguin Reference Books and making my own words:
There once was a granny named Hillary
Who imagined herself rather pillary!
To the top of the Hill
She climbed with her Bill
But the fly grasped her skin. Drosophillery.
There once was not a bitch, not auxiliary,
Her name was not Billary... Hillary!
With the utmost skill
She pushed with the thrill
To become the czarina of sinnery.
There once was a Hillary, rootin'
To ban all the purine and gluten,
To lead the empire
like Molly Maguire
She made Trump “the puppet of Putin.”
There once was a commander-in-chief
Who wanted to serve us... Oh, good grief!
While laying the trap
She made the new map:
Mosul moved like the muslin midriff.
