I had a dream about you again
And this is what I saw then:

You were with me and two other women
Candidates you considered to be your wife
And you were messing with our minds
Wanting to finally decide
Which one will become your spouse.
All three in love with you
Was it a game? Was it real life?
I guess that's how it is sometimes....
But only one is a poet – it is I,
And only I am in your heart.


What of it now? It's all a dream
Does it mean you're not there for me?
Your name is not mine, you aren't mine still
You're like a stranger not knowing me
If you're not mine, why calling me in sleep?
Somehow we cannot be at peace
You share your days with somebody else
But still you keep coming back to me...
I think you're lying this time; you see,
It's not me, it's God who you're trying to trick!
