Bridges and Gates - My Sweet Honey...

My sweet honey, I’m grabbing you out of the claws
Of our blind double-faced bloody fates!
Let us hurry before they shut down the doors –
We’ll break forth through the cast iron gates.

We’ll burn down the bridges and rush from the worse,
Leaving ashes behind our backs,
Followed only by our Zodiac stars in their burrs –
They will help us and heal our hacks.

Trying salt of the Earth, passing edge of a knife,
Fire, Waters of Life and of Death –
We’ll start breathing anew, fused as husband and wife,
Turned to one flesh and blood, soul and breath.

We’ll be striving to reach for the gardens we lost
Where Earthly Love springs and wells up.
Though we won’t forget what we’ve learned and our cost,
We’ll pour down and refill our Cup.

I’ll see fireflies lighted in your lovely eyes.
I’ll breathe in your sweet sighs that I miss.
And your lips – Gates of Gold to our Paradise –
Will be opening in bloom at my kiss.
