Oh, what a terrible dream I had
As if you were on fire.
I look up to you, my dearest friend
Memories of you surround me.
As if the world turned dark
Oh God! The earth is cracking!
There’s an abyss between us,
Deep and black, without the bridge.
We’re standing on different edges
So petrified and scared.
Why are you silent, you ignorant?
Save me! Give me your hand!
Or the hope of going back to our countries
Is lost forever.
I woke up with my eyes closed.
I’m alone, so alone…
And I’m weary of the nights,
So mysterious erstwhile.
