My Hometown 2007

I was born near the city of Sochi, which is located on a narrow coastal strip between the Black Sea and Caucasian Mountains. What’s Sochi like? It is the longest city in the world. It stretches along the coast of the Black Sea for more than 100 kilometers. The climate here subtropical and the water in the sea warm from spring till autumn. There are a lot of warm days, but the air not as hot as in Denver. The developed resort network and health services attract many people to Sochi to rest. The city of Sochi is the main Resort City of Russia.
The sea shines as if millions new gold coins are scattered on its surface. Elastic air clinks from impacts of wheels about railways and comes pure and quiet. The light-blue sky is visible through greens of foliage. I see the most different trees. There are cypresses which are brought from Greece. There are palms which come from Africa. Northern trees here grow also. It is an oak, and birch, and pine. There are a lot of bushes. I do not know their names. Everything here grows, that is in the world. Also there is a special botanical garden, in which the rare plants from all worlds grow. Each man, who comes in Sochi, admires this beauty of a nature and parks.
In summer the sea is usually quiet. The small wave is lazy will strike about sand as the fish jumps out on a surface of water. Early in morning, when rests still sleep in the hotels, the fishermen come on a coast and catch a fish. They stand patiently and wait, when the fish will begin to be caught. But I never saw, that they should have caught a fish much. And the fish in the sea is, and it is a lot of. But the fish should be caught by networks. It is done by the professional fishers.
In the evening the people go for a walk on a coast of the sea. Somebody is dressed in a beach clothes, and somebody is already dressed for theater. On a coast there is a lot of cafe and restaurants. Music sounds from different directions. The aromas of fried meat attract rests to have supper. In a window it is possible to see pictures of the sea, leaving for horizon of the sun, floating steam-ships. I see abundance of flowers many colors. The small groups of the singers are playing popular melodies. You may enjoy dancing, but a line locates the large dancing platforms. Here youth shows miracles of figures and force of muscles. There comes evening, and then there comes night, but the voices and sounds are long audible. The sounds of a night nature join them. The bats noiselessly fly by on a background of stars.
In an hour, one can drive from the sea to the mountains where the snow lays constantly. There are lifts and boarding houses for the fans alpine skiing here. Therefore the Olympic Games are going to be in 2014 in the city of Sochi. Now city is preparing for this sports holiday, and it will become after that more better.
