        Caterpillar
 
    The caterpillar isn't very pretty,
    It is all hairy and prickly
    And it wriggles very quickly.

    It is constantly chewing leaves
    For it wants to grow fat.
    (And it surely will, I bet).

    But when the time comes
    You are in for a big surprise
    That is sure to open your eyes.

    It is a magic moment
    When the caterpillar gives a happy sigh
    And turns into a lovely butterfly.

    It will no longer crawl on the ground,
    It will spread its wings
    And fly and flutter around.

    And I also wish you knew
    That it will no longer chew tough leaves
    But drink nectar and dew.

     Isn't it a miracle?!
