С конца 1955 года "Billboard" стал составлять новый чарт "Top 100", прообраз будущего "Hot 100", составленный из трёх остальных чартов, которые продолжали публиковаться - продаж пластинок  "Best Sellers in Stores", радиотрансляций "Most Played by Jockeys" и прослушиваний в музыкальных автоматах "Most Played in Jukeboxes". Большинство пластинок, имевших наибольшие продажи, возглавляли этот сборный чарт (со сдвигом во времени), а те, которые не попали, буду публиковать ниже, аналогично буду помечать (*) те песни, которые не возглавляли чарт продаж.
