Away

Away, you were taken away in a flash
No struggle, no fighting, no violent clash
Of heroes and villains or peasants and kings
Your mind flew away on its unspoiled wings.
From trouble and nightmares to walking alone
For ages, deluded, through gardens of stone
To grant me the torment of watching you go
And cursing the reaper for being so slow.
Eclipsed by your exodus, the sun of my heart
Has given me vision and joined me in part
To shatter the world that you couldn't accept
