LOVE
But they can make one no more lonely,
Unhappy, gloomy or disdainful;
But, nonetheless, sometimes it`s painful.
Still, any its manifestation
Does bring upon one a sensation
That had he wings he`d jump and fly –
Likewise a bird or butterfly.
One is a blindman, being in love,
A foolish dumb about his half.
He`s apt to do imprudent deeds
When his sweetheart about it bids.
Can even sacrifice his life
To make her say: “I`ll be your wife.”
Refusal drives one almost crazy;
Then future seems obscure and hazy,
And will to live does disappear
As sense of life is no more clear.
But I advise: Don`t hang your head
`cause love in you is never dead.
With time gone by the pain will vanish,
And new emotions will replenish
The empty spaces in your heart;
And, maybe, this another part
Will be with you more sympathetic
And turn your life into extatic
Dreamland, Heaven on the Earth,
And gracious Lord will bless you both.
So, live and love and hate and breathe
And you`ll discover what life is.
