Wine of Yours
These lips of poison yet unsmiting, –
I'm just a poet of my rose,
Berhyme this beauty of thy fire.
Thine stars of eyes, my tears of moon, –
You take me down in thy ocean,
You were to make my dreams a fool, –
I was obsessed with this devotion.
I was behind thine smiles and sorrows, –
The shadow following thy trail, –
I wish I had a heart to borrow
For you the heart of mine betrayed.
Since I have lost thee in thy lie, –
"In vino veritas" they cried.
