Final Ritual
In the light of all your laws
That bite off what they can't chew
And forever hide your flaws
Laws that bound me and restrained
And forbade to feed my ire
Laws that cannot be explained
Laws that feast on my desire
In their omnipresent light
I have lost my grasp on life
They have robbed me of delight
They have handed me your knife
Thrice I strike myself; Behold
For my sins I shall atone
Watch my blood as it turns cold
Here I shall rest in stone
Sacrificial lamb for some
Passage I shall grant to those
Who unwillingly shall come
To our world as theirs froze
Under your relentless gaze
Through my shattered bleeding heart
You will count their numbered days
As I suffer and depart.
