Ode to Oblivion
To forget one’s face?
The words that one said
And vows that one breaks
How long ‘till it all
Is lost in oblivion
Of stories unknown
Events yet to come?
How long ‘till the memories
Become wholly trivial?
Once they disappear
In sweet, chilling mist
Of life of tomorrow,
Full of new things.
How strong should be thread
To last for eternity
While grains of the sand
Pour down in such hurry?
