Fade Away
The beauty of the rhyme in every verse;
I tried to find this verve I'd lost in you, –
The same old poems which I hoped I'd burned.
My muse is dead, she's gone away with me, –
I have got nothing, my gift is to die.
I hope my last lines will bestow the peace
So long I craved for though I've been so blind.
"I tried to find this silence in the storm", –
The same old song, thoughts from the severed heads.
This pendulum of fate had cut my world, –
The halves of love and words yet to be said.
I have to go, erase myself from here
Though I will live as I'm my faceless foe.
I'll reignite and don't you wait for me, –
If you still care don't ever let me know.
