A deep abyss of secrets
That taught me how to live.
That was of Rose* who young survived
On board a sinking ship**.
Already old,
Though wise and sweet,
She winked it to her dear
Beloved granddaughter
Named Lizzy***
In sinuous memories,
To fresh-confess identity,
What got Liz struck and speechless.
Rose uttered that 'a woman's heart
Is a deep ocean of secrets'.
Once in a lifetime
There breaks a word
That changes all your being.
For me it came,
Though late yet strong,
To stop my stupid thing.
So, men, feel free to say 'good-bye'
To all your cunning tricks
To try and enter deep inside
My sorrows, fears, whims.
What lies that deep
Is just for me,
No man is welcomed into.
Let you be you.
Let me be me -
A deep abyss of secrets...
