Chico Marx

March 22nd – Chico Marx’s birthday.  In 2015 there is 128 years since he was born.


Chico Marx – a gifted bandleader, comedian, Marx Brothers manager, actor.
He knew how generate business & wealth and earn in every area or sector.
Chico Marx’ character manifested charm, mischievousness, humor and wit.
In any comic act, he was prepared to perform, could improvise & greatly fit.

He played piano, implanting into the acts, as well as doing solo, while daring.
Marx was unique in everything he did, whether it was talking and/or staring.
Chico delivered an impeccable acting, manifested funny and fun personality.
He entertained in films, on stage, in vaudevilles, showing unique individuality.

Although artistically, Chico exhibited mastery, talent, vigor and distinction,
His weakness was obsession with women as well as his gambling addiction.
Anything earned he had immediately spent, leaving himself without wealth.
What flourished was his popularity & what declined was Chico Marx’ health.

March 22nd – birthday of Chico Marx, we are thinking of him today and ever.
Marx had invested own effort, time, succeeding in his each career endeavor.
Like many colleagues on his way to stardom, he had experienced falls & rises.
His contribution to motion picture field, performing arts is valuable, priceless.
