Remind me
Remind me, if some day I'm down,
Of careless vows, of fleeting youth.
It's up to us, which way to choose,
In which sweet element to drown
The grief, the yearning, the confusion
That poison our blood. So long,
Another passion, an illusion.
You let me rest a bit alone.
We used to be indulged in reverie.
We knew, the world was on our side.
Days may reduce the hopes to jelly,
Hurt and depress a wounded pride.
Remind me, if I loose my spirit,
Of every word we used to say.
Let's turn back time? I think, we needn't.
It's our life. It's our play.
