The song of a slave

The voice that never sings,
I hear you in my heart.
You're nearby in my dreams,
We've never been apart.

I often hear your screaming,
But no one else it knows.
So far I'm not revealing,
I'm chained in your tows.

I've been a slave for ages,
I've seen how metal glows.
How thoughts were turned to pages,
How kings and lords arose.

My life in rusty cages,
So endless, tragic prose.
Was made of many stages,
But no one else it knows.

I've seen regales and hassles,
And brethren being exposed.
I've seen so silly vassals,
From cages grids being closed.

The voice that never sings,
Let's sing the song of a slave.
That's all of what I think
That's all for what I crave
