Maurice Bejart – gifted in choreography, opera directing, dance.
Of French descent, his contribution to ballet appeared immense.
Bejart Ballet in Switzerland was his original and valuable creation,
Which had attracted much domestic and international attention.

Maurice’s repertoire was of innovative nature in music & ballet.
He introduced an avant-garde, which he would dare to convey.
Bejart retained ballet vocabulary throughout his own evolution.
Bright were his talent, craft, work ethics & artistic contribution.

As a dynamic, buoyant artist, Maurice strove for transformation.
His impact to ballet – true source of vigor, courage & inspiration.
Dramatic/choreographic themes and expressions were amusing.
Bejart’s integration of style and genre had often had been using.

January 1st – birthday of Maurice Bejart, we think of him forever.
Maurice was kind, lovable, intelligent, sharp, tolerant and clever.
Successful in an undertaken challenge, obstacle and/or endeavor,
Bejart exhibited willpower, persistence, creative spirit and flavor.
