Running fast along the sunny street
Chasing their invisible feet
Glimpsing all the way around
Rainy droplets falling on the ground
She didn’t know where to go
Swinging on her tiny toe
Smiling at another passerby
Looking cunning on the sly
So young was she and so na;ve
And so easy to deceive
She forgot to finish her ice-cream
Flying somewhere in another dream
That is how she was lost
Among the strangers in the frost
And she just slipped in a puddle
So silly in the muddle
But she smiled all the same
People thought she was insane
Only one boy gave his hand
Cause she was too sweet to withstand
Running fast along the sunny street
Happy everyone to meet
Glimpsing at each other’s eyes
Soaking wet and still unwise
But sincere and without lies…
