A critical acclaim, recognition he did capture and catch.
A lot of fine performances by him an audience had seen.
Burton was nominated for an Oscar 7 times without win.

Richard’s passion for acting, baritone voice & sex appeal
Might have contributed to audience’ admiration & thrill.
His singing voice and dramatic craft were well received.
Burton fulfilled his acting dream, ambition, goal & need.

Distinctive was his talent, accomplishments, versatility,
Along with ups and downs, fluctuation and variability.
Sadly, his self-destructive habits led his career decline.
To troubled life Richard since childhood was inclined.

November 10th – birthday of Richard Burton, fine actor.
He could further evolve within talent & skill spectrum.
We think of him today, his memory is fond and warm.
At work & home he was just like a force of air, storm.
