  When I was young my father said:
"Your life's a journey,
It will be steep, it will be flat
It will be thorny.
  And you might wander all alone
Before you settle
So when it's tough keep being strong
Don't lose your mettle...

 Love! Like there's no tomorrow
   Move! And you will be followed
     Help! Change the world for better
       Do! Something that would matter
 And when it's time to go
   You'll be the one to know
     That you have really lived!

  Since then, I've worn off many shoes
And kept on walking
I lived through hatred, pain, abuse
And constant mocking
  They tried to take my wings away
But I kept flying
And when it hurt, I pushed my way
Instead of crying

 Shout! Like you do not care
   Loud! You've got much to share
     Fight! Always keep your grounds
       Don't put your soul in bounds!
 And when it's time to go
   You'll be the one to know
     That you have really lived!"

  When we were born there was a cause
There was a reason
So don't you put your life on pause
In self-made prison
  Your path might leave you bruised and scarred
Relentless rover
But even if it's steep and hard
Keep starting over!!!
