Breaking off

The gap of parting has broadened,
My tired arms grow weaker,
And the breath of darkness
Is simulating a tired giant.

The dampness and stench spread.
You aren’t next to me,
There is only burning pain
Of my miserable fate.

The temptation to forgive and beg forgiveness
Is melting along with the rain.
The bitterness of your treachery
Is blown away by a mighty gust of change.

I whisper my prayer to be rescued
And it sounds like an oath or a poem.
The terror – dangerous illness –
Leaves my heart.

Flares of my aura shift.

In the charred ruins of the past
The tarnished sun will rise again,
But will no longer trouble or wound my soul.
