I was cold and you were scared
You were lonely and I – alone
I held your hand, you offered hope.
I fought your fears, you kept me warm.
You felt like home when in my arms,
I found my shelter in your eyes.
We took a leap and broke the rules,
But I was wrong, and we were fools…
And soon we've crumbled, fell apart.
We've burnt it all and heat burnt out.
And it's too late..
Too far..
I'm gone
