An Angelically-demonic Sonnet
From water and her deep alluring eyes…
Who is this lady? – Goddess of a river?
A demon, with a soul of fire and ice?
The challenge stands, but challengers are down…
All fail to sweep her off her lovely feet;
Instead, they reel and fall, surrender, drown…
She laughs: the waves of laughter mirthful, fleet.
Who is the girl? – A fairy? Fair true angel?
A demon of angelic potent grace?
Her eyes are radiant with love, adventure, danger…
A Universe beyond her siren’s face.
And scream the eyes so loudly, in silence:
“Just sweep me off my feet, some Mage or Sire!!!”
