Why I?

My good lord, did you know I can cry?
Did you know, I’m in pain, I feel vain, I’m shy
Is this my way, which I was meant to go through
Is this your holy eyes, watching me getting truth?

You gave me challenge, but you forgot my power
You gave me pieces of knowledge, from your mysterious tower
Now you pulled back, and I am on my own
Trying to be like them, trying to stop this show

Where everyone is so low, everyone seek the light
Every person is doomed, to loose life after fight
They tell me in the end, we shall see your sky-court
If you’ll ask me today, I’d tell: “bravely I’ve fought”

I get out everyday, but my winding life play
Barely give’s me my strength, and is yet going on
Loosing on, but won’t pray, that is all for today
I’ll reach out for the sky, tell me, where have you gone?

Pay for decisions I’ve made, all of sins will be paid
Looking into your eyes, I will ask you to try…
To explain me your lie
And the question I hide: “…Why…I…?”
