Delivery Dragon

Picts have whispered such of the start of this wonderful story:
there once was a delivery dragon in stable of the Earth's King
yes it's true that today his name's that of water's calm glory
but back then everything was exactly how they sing

once on business he was flying over a honeycomb valley
he got tired and imbued with the flowers' purple haze
so he fell in burdocks and sagebrush right on his belly
and the Scots poem-animals gathered above him, and hovered in maze

he woke up not remembering self, right by the warm stairway 
upon which golden clocks come up to the sky
and on his snout there sat baby insect with a broken front pad 
in a bud of cold morning dew, and inquiringly cried

he unfastened his wings, though powerful but useless of now
and he gave over to deer his four running legs
and he treated the wretch, and forgot all the business somehow
and he laughed like a mirror, and with him laughed the once eery lake

lo the giant humpback half-breed crawls out to the shore 
by necessity, snake-head rejoices and smiles: at last
ladybug has arrived for vacation at Nessie's, just like before
gotta fill the air grotto up with sweet honey-grass

 о начале истории пикты шептали такое:
жил Курьерский Дракон
в автопарке земного царя
да –
сейчас у чудовища имя воды
и покоя -
а тогда было в точности всё
как они говорят
 
по служебным делам проносясь по медовой долине
утомлённый дракон
пропитался дурманом цветным
опьянел
и опал на холме
в лопухи и полыни
и шотландские звери-стихи  всколыхнулись  над ним
 
он очнулся себе незнакомый  у теплого трапа
по которому в гору идут золотые часы
  а на морде -
птенец  насекомый   со  сломанной  лапой
вопросительно  плачет  в  холодном  бутоне росы
 
и  курьер отстегнул  бесполезные мощные крылья
и  оставил  оленю  четыре  бегучих  ноги
и  букашку лечил
и  вселенья  его  позабыли

он смеялся  как  зеркало
озеро стало другим
 
выползает  на  сушу  горбатый  гигант-полукровка
долгожданно   ликует    necessity    змей-головы:
на каникулы  к  Несси  приехала  божья  коровка
надо  в  аэрогроте  пополнить   запасы  травы
