i know that the reasons behind someone's being a bad person
of any shape and colour
should not be given the power
to change their fate,
and i guess that the fact that you too may have reasons not to like things about yourself
couldn't cover
the fact that you're still an asshole
or make it fade.
and the fact that you might be scared of things
and feel too insecure to act some other way,
will never make you pure,
it's also not my affair,
so i spend my time learning not to care,
not finding you a cure.
and though the road may be long, i pick lots on the way:
these things i say -
i don't even need you to get them.
i do now. we'll make it a day.
this time you won t lead me away
