Hide and Seek

Isaiah 8:17
I will wait for the LORD,
       who is hiding his face ...
       I will put my trust in him.

Lord, I want to hear from you,
I want to know again,
“I’ve never leave you… I’ve never forsaken you…
Do not be afraid… I am your Friend.”

Sometimes, You hide your face
And I am confused at this world,
But when time passed, again I am amazed
Because You have kept Your Word.

You are my Lord and You are my God,
Your choice to hide is Your holy right.
You want me to seek You with all my heart,
With all my soul and all my mind.

You know exactly a day and an hour
When You have appointed to reveal Yourself straight.
You have prepared to pour out Your showers
Of blessings on me if I just wait.

Lord, help me to wait for your holy time,
And help me to know Your will,
Your designed plan for me to embrace as mine,
Help me to remain still.

Just because You are my Lord and God,
Your choice to hide is always right,
I seek You, Lord, with all my heart,
With all my soul and all my mind.
