His Perfect Peace

Is. 26:3-4
3 You will keep in perfect peace
       him whose mind is steadfast,
       because he trusts in you.
 4 Trust in the LORD forever,
       for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

I wait for my King, my Lord, God’s Son.
He comes and brings me hope, joy, and calm.

My Master, He designed all of my days;
He knew my every step, I’ve ever made.

I am willing to submit my precious life
To Sovereign God Who lead and satisfy it.

In my distress, I am falling on my knees;
Where in God I find perfect peace.

People around me sometime are surprised;
I am pressing on to win the highest prize.

Someone would say to me, “You’re so alone.
You have the pain and wound, it’s hard to go.”

But in my darkest terrified nights,
My Jesus comes and shines His holy light.

 I trust in Him my past and my tomorrow.
I choose today to live without sorrow.

I wait humbly for my King and Priest;
He’s in my heart, He gives His perfect peace.
