Elvis Presley – musician and singer, “The King of Rock and Roll.”
From younger age he chose to pursue his music dream or goal.
Presley explored pop, rock and roll, blues, country, gospel, R&B.
Fulfilling his musical passion, skill, ability, potential set him free.

Elvis had clearly become a legend, icon, international sensation.
What was unique about his style – provocative interpretation.
His stage moves might’ve communicated a sexual connotation.
Elvis created his own performance trend, demeanor, fashion.

Elvis achieved much recognition, praise, commercial success,
Which spread out of proportion & expectation, to an excess.
Lacking professional training, he had performed music by ear.
Presley, intuitive and gifted, succeeded in his musical career.

He had outstood by his enthusiasm, vigor, vivacity, ambition.
Elvis exuded artistic drive, empowerment, pursuing mission.
Presley was persevere & innovative on stage and television.
Sexy, flamboyant, charming, handsome, he carried out vision.

Elvis promoted musical genres’ integration, fusion or blend.
With his high baritone, he sung naturally, could not pretend.
Surprising was his spectrum of emotions, he lived and dared.
Rebellious & irreplaceable, for redefining music Elvis cared.

Elvis’s phenomenon drew an abundant flow of popularity,
Along with his nonconventional, unpredictable personality.
Brave & determined, he moved ahead, further achieving.
Presley was known as loving, caring, kind, generous, giving.
 
January 8th – birthday of Elvis Presley, a versatile man, rarity.
Had he lived longer, Elvis could’ve expanded his universality.
Presley was gone too soon, while we remember him in heart.
His transformation, contribution - valuable to the music art.
