That day, you made my dream come true!
Your hand was warm, you hugged me tight!
Alignment of the stars was right!
You signed some papers, paid your dues,
Then made a call and announced the news!
"We'll call him - Ace!" I heard you say...
Next thing I know, we're on our way...
You took me home with you that day!
So many smiles, I get to play!
I'm loved and cared for by you all!
I'm being trained to catch a ball!
I may be small, but I can bark!
I will protect, even in the dark!
No one will hurt you, while I'm here!
There's nothing and no one, you should fear!

How lucky that you liked me too!

I have a home! I feel carefree!

He is, but requires quite a bit of work!
It's literally, like having another child to care for. Feeding, bathing, doctor's appointments, etc..! ))))
I never had a pet growing up, so I wanted my children to have that experience.
Not to mention, it teaches them responsibilities of taking care of someone else, other than themselves.. )
You know, each time I visit your page, it's as if I enter a brightly lit room.
Books to the left and records, cd's (lots of them) on the shelves to the right.
And I just browse through them, each time, discovering something new or pulling out one that is most nostalgic.
Today, I was looking for - Maybe I Maybe You by Scorpions.. but found another favorite one.. )
